Ranthambore National Park

Ranthambore, a world-famous wildlife destination in India, is gaining popularity due to its thriving tiger population. The heart of this attraction, Ranthambore National Park, covers approximately 384 square kilometers — about a quarter of the entire Ranthambore Tiger Reserve — and is the area open for tourists. The park is divided into 10 distinct safari zones, each offering unique chances to spot tigers and experience diverse wildlife. Safari tours can be taken in two types of vehicles: the Gypsy, which seats up to 6 people, and the Canter, a larger vehicle accommodating up to 20 people.

Ranthambore Safari

Type Of Ranthambore Safari

There are two types of vehicle allowed for safari in ranthambore. One is 6 Pax. gypsy and Other is 20 Pax. canter.

Gypsy Safari

Gypsy is open jeep type vehicle, can be book for safari for max. 6 person per gypsy. It can visit in all zone from 1 to 10.

Canter Safari

Canter is open bus type vehicle and can be book for max. 20 person per canter. It can be book for all zone except zone 7 & 8.

Safari Mode

There are three mode of safari available in ranthambore. Which can be avail by the guest as per their choice.

Advance Safari

It can be availed up to 90 days before the visit date.

Current Safari

It opens daily at 10:00 AM for same day evening and next day morning shifts.

Tatkal Gypsy Safari

It can be availed up to 7 days before the visit date.

How to Reach Ranthambore


By Air: The nearest airport is Sanganer airport in Jaipur, which is about 180 kms and 3:30 Hour drive from the Ranthambore. Jaipur is well connected to New Delhi and Mumbai with daily flights operated by domestic airlines. The flying distance from Jaipur to Delhi is thirty minutes and from Mumbai to Jaipur is one hour & thirty minutes.


By Rail: Sawai Madhopur is on the main railway line between Delhi and Mumbai and is also well connected to Jaipur. There are regular super fast trains like Jan Shatabdi, Rajdhani between these destinations. The travel time from Sawai Madhopur to Jaipur is approximately two hours and thirty minutes, to Delhi is 5 hours and to Mumbai is around fifteen hours.


By Road: Sawai Madhopur is about 3:30 Hour away from Jaipur, 6 Hour away from Agra and 8 Hour away from Dehli. All are connected through national highway.
